Artsit Statement :
The idea for my collage work came from the Japanese concept of "Kintsugi", which is the art of fixing broken pottery by applying golden lacquer on the cracks, making something imperfect even more beautiful. Through my artwork, I show how I accept and live with my own imperfections, or the scars from her past, emphasizing the grace that can come from one's brokenness.
